Events Co-ordinator (Part Time)

£14,500 Pro Rata (25 Hours per Week)
Origin RPM’s client is Scotland’s largest independent training and conference venue based in the heart of Edinburgh. Their friendly, professional and dedicated team host up to 16 different events each day for a wide variety of clients. Ensuring that both leader's and delegate's needs are met promptly is key to their success and due to expansion and internal promotion they require a new Events Co-ordinator to assist them with this.
Hours of work will be 8am-1pm, 5 days from 6 (Monday-Saturday)
Key responsibilities:
- Meeting, greeting and signing in delegates
- Gathering and confirming all event details by telephone and email (such as event titles, start & end times, equipment and dietary requirements etc)
- Chasing booking forms by telephone and email
- Answering the telephone
- Providing support to event leaders with duties such as photocopying, faxing, arranging transport, etc
- Acting as back up for Venue Support (Can include clearing and replenishing buffets and the coffee lounge when required).
- Carrying out general customer service and administration support duties as required.

You’ll enjoy a challenge, variety in your job and most importantly enjoy delighting customers both face to face and over the telephone. Strong IT skills are essential and you will have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
